Introduction
Daily contact with the retailers and your Sales Representatives colleagues: booking orders, providing information regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery and suggesting alternative products. Just a couple of tasks of the Customer Service employee position within Shimano Belgium!In this role you will become part of an enthusiastic Customer Service team consisting of 6 colleagues in our brand-new office in Mechelen.

The Challenge
1. Provide customers and colleagues with pricing, product, availability, order and delivery information.
2. Suggest alternative or additional products to customers to best match their needs or through company initiatives
3. Be a link between customer & sales teams to maximise responsiveness, share key information and support sales goals
4. Track the status of customer orders and alert responsible persons should there be a deviation from plans or a bottle neck
5. Check credit within established limitations to confirm customer orders
6. Answer technical questions and resolve technical difficulties for the customer, escalating where necessary.
7. Receive and process customer orders, inquiries or complaints as the first line of support then escalating where necessary.
8. Coordinate and maintain proper administration of order information in the relevant systems to ensure up to date information, simple tracking, early detection of potential issues and to enable forecasting
What are we looking for?
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent language skills in Dutch and French.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the bike products / industry is considered a plus.
