Your profile
- You have a degree in Electric Power Engineering or Energy systems Engineering. Recent graduates will also be considered.
- Knowledge of using EPLAN, Sigraph, or AutoCad is considered an advantage.
- You are sociable with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- You communicate well orally and written in English. Scandinavian language skill is considered an advantage.
Your responsibilities
As a part of our diverse and multinational group in Trondheim, you will be working closely together with project management, system, and software engineering groups as well as with end customers. Working with customer order engineering at Siemens Energy you will provide customized solutions based on the latest innovations and perform hardware engineering for deliveries to the energy and offshore industries.
Typical tasks include:
- Analysis of the customer specification with focus on the technical requirements on the hardware
- Preparation of hardware designs of electrical switchboards and shaft generators
- Follow-up production activities
- Driving design related topics from early hardware concepts development until manufacturing and customer acceptance (IAT/FAT)
- Ensuring the delivery of a functional hardware which complies with contractual requirements and standards
