With our CycloRotors, we develop a new, sustainable, highly manoeuvrable, and environmentally accepted eVTOL propulsion solution for the 21st century. As a Measurement technician in CyloTech you will take responsibility for the measurement technology and equipment of our CycloRotor test benches and prototypes. You will collaborate in the specification and design of test benches and measurement equipment, assisting during tests, collect, analyse data and discuss test results with engineering.
In this role, you will be working closely together with R&D. You also will be:
- Responsible for all measurement activities at the in-house test facilities from technology selection till data management
- Selection of the required measurement methods and related technology
- Integration of the required measuring devices and sensors
- Maintenance, calibration and validation of the test bench measurement technology
- Signal Processing of test data and quantification of measurement errors
- Further development of test benches, measurement technology and measurement methods
- Use of data analysis tools for post-processing
- Collaboration with team members and across departments, e.g. mechanical engineering, software development and aerodynamics
- Minimum 3 years of proven hands-on experience working in a test environment in electrical/mechanical testing
- Completed technical education (HTL, studies, FH) in the field of Electrical-, Electro-Mechanical engineering, Measurement Technology
- Aerospace experience in the relevant subjects is an advantage
- Knowledge of the data transmission protocols (eg.: CAN, RS232) is a plus
- Experience setting up measurement test equipment in a high voltage environment
- Capable of problem-solving and debugging electrical systems and measurements
- Excellent observation skills to ensure good test data collection
- Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal), German language skills are of advantage
- Proficiency in Catman, Matlab and MS Office
Willingness to travel for external testing support (approx. 6 weeks per annum)

- Annual full-time based salary for the position is € 50,000 gross. We are willing to pay above the stated salary, final offer will be based on market level as well on individual qualification and experience.
