You will assist the producer in making the entire game. The role focuses primarily on collaboration, project management, organization, communication, addressing project management linkages and barriers, and risk management.
What you will do:
- Work with the Product Owner to define the Product Backlog, Priorities and Deliveries .
- Work with the Production Team to define the production plan and realize the plan on time, on budget and on quality.
- Anticipate and mitigate risks that could jeopardize the project in advance.
- Work close with production team and help to remove any blockers for them.
- Major driver of the project related workshop and team activities.
- Optimize the production/ co-dev processes, methods and tools to maximize productivity.
- Mobilize and inspire the team foster positive team collaboration.
- Ensure good visibility on production progress, achievements, risks and dependencies to the production team and partners through efficient communication and visual aids.
- Coach the production team and junior project management team with best production practices and project management methodologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with the Product Owner to define production direction, priorities, and deliverables.
- Works with the game production team to define the game production plan and achieve it on time, on budget and with quality.
- Predict and mitigate risks that could jeopardize the project in advance.
- Work closely with the game production team to help them mitigate barriers.
- Lead drive project related workshops and team activities.
- Optimize production and co-development processes, methods and tools to maximize productivity.
- Mobilizes and motivates teams promotes positive teamwork.
- Ensure that the production team and partners have a good understanding of production progress, current, risk and contextual factors through effective communication and visual aids.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent experience and skills in project management rolein gaming industry.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum and experience as scrum master.
- Went through the whole game production cycle, from conception to launch and live operation.
- Excellent presentation, organization, time management, and cross-department communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in English and Mandarin.
- Familiar with project management and office tools, such as Jira, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong passion on playing and creating video games.
Job Requirements
- Excellent Gaming industry project management experience and capabilities.
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum and have Scrum Master experience.
- Have full-cycle experience in game production, including from project establishment to release and operation.
- Excellent presentation, organisation, time management and interdepartmental communication skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Familiar with project management and office tools such as Jira, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have a strong passion for playing and creating video games.
Bonus points:
- ScrumMaster or PMP certificates.
- Experience of working on PC/Mobile games as project management role.
- Expert ience of outsourcing management
