Role Introduction
To partner with Account Managers to provide proactive sales and support to achieve the targets through the intelligent use of data enabling the achievement of revenue and the associated targets for the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support and Reporting
- Support the Channel Distribution strategy for the Port / Territory
- Supply the regional business development team with market information from time to time in accordance with Cathay's anti-trust policies and guidelines as required
- Effective usage of Group Sales optimization (GSO) ensuring end to end closure of group travel
- Ensure timely communication is disseminated to trade using CXAgents platform
- Assist the trade with any adhocs, refunds and FIT queries as maybe required
- Assist account managers for any operational query and backend support
- Assist local GAM with global POS coordination and closure of contracts
General
- Utilize tools such as PRISM, SFA, DDS and Qliksense to run reports and conduct analysis for the Corporate Account Managers
- Ensure credit control support extended to Account managers
- Any other reasonable task as requested
E&A
- Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required
Requirements
Nationality
- Taiwan Permanent Resident or Taiwan Employment Gold Card holder
- People with Taiwan indigenous status are welcome.
Academic qualifications
- University degree of above
- College graduation as a minimum
- Diploma / Certification in a relevant Sales business field would be an advantage
Knowledge, skills, training and experience
- A minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience
- Demonstrable commercial acumen
- Experience in, or knowledge of, the airline industry is a distinct advantage
- Proven numeracy and analytical skills
- Knowledge of PRISM, MIDT, DDS and Sales Force Automation Tool is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent PC literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to cover and progress into an Outdoor Sales role
- Adaptive to and embraces constant change
