Duties

Under the direct supervision of the General Services Office responsible for housing and property management, the incumbent provides a wide range of support services to the Embassy, especially in the areas of housing and property management. The incumbent serves as the primary customer service representative for the GSO section and spends time on special project planning and coordinating as needed by the GSO.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

At least two years experience in any real estate related field or customer service experience is required.

Education Requirements:

College or university studies.

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required. This may be tested.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Incumbent must possess strong interpersonal skills for direct and frequent interactions with American family members and contractors in order to resolve problems and enforce post policies and contract requirements. Must possess basic computer skills (word processing, database and excel spreadsheet).


Familiarity with the Department of State housing regulations and post-specific housing and property rules and practices is a plus.


Incumbent must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
