What do we do?

Electra was born in 2021 out of the desire to make cities more sustainable, quieter and cleaner, and to accelerate the shift to electric vehicles by tackling the main obstacle of recharging. Electra promotes electric mobility by expanding fast charging in cities.


We are constantly innovating to facilitate the recharging of electric vehicles with a network of fast charging hubs (15 to 30 minutes maximum) and to provide a seamless and simplified user experience. Product, quality and customer satisfaction are our top priorities!

With locations in Paris, Lyon, Brussels, and Milan, we are pursuing the goal of establishing a fast-charging network of 8,000 charging points by 2030 in order to participate in the energy transition in Europe.

In less than 24 months, we have:

  • Set up more than 250 charging points and secured 4000 charging points across Europe

Your mission


2023 is the year of the opening of Electra Switzerland.
We are looking for a team of 10 motivated and driven individuals to set up 100 fast charging stations by the end of 2026.

As Junior Business Developer, you will be responsible for prospecting, building and signing partnerships with property owners of hotels, restaurants, operators of underground garages, cinemas, etc. to develop Electra's ultra-fast charging network in Switzerland. Your main challenge is to open as many doors as possible in order to convert deals and to map out the best locations possible in Switzerland.

Under the responsibility of the Country Manager, you will liaise with all Electra teams (finance, operations, product) to identify the best synergies with our partners and the most suitable locations for ultra-fast charging.

Your role

  • Identifying and prospecting the most relevant sites and partners in line with Electra's internal strategy

  • Convincing your prospects to trust Electra to install an ultra-fast charging station on their land

  • Promoting Electra's offer in the different sectors (retail, hotel, catering) to decision makers: hotel and general managers, property owners, technical managers, etc.

  • Preparing and presenting commercial and technical proposals in close collaboration with the operations team

  • Convincing potential partners and signing contracts with decision makers to secure the best locations for Electra’s expansion

Your profile

  • You speak (Swiss) German and English fluently. French or Italian are a bonus

  • You have 2+ years of experience as a sales representative (prospection) or business developer or in a similarly challenging role.

  • You are autonomous and organized with a strong team spirit

  • You have a high willingness to find the best locations for Electra’s fast expansion

  • You are proactive and show initiative for all new business development opportunities

  • You are able to quickly connect with new people and know how to handle setbacks

  • You understand customer needs, can respond to them, and have an open ear

  • You have fluid, clear and transparent communication

  • You have a desire to develop and learn in a fast-growing start-up

  • You are interested in current energy and environmental topics with a passion for electromobility
